BIOMASS
Biomass processing plants can be very large and very costly with lots of componants needing a lot of maintenance. Biogreen® Biomass plants are the perfect solution offering a small footprint, cost efficient operation, modular, can be mobile, low CAPEX, low maintanance cost, low downtime and only requiring electricity to operate.
Biogreen® technology offers you all kinds of products from your biomass including: bio-oils of various kinds, bio-char, carbon, charcoal, syngas and more. Biogreen® can help you valorize your biomass before committing to a plant.

FOOD WASTE
We are working with some large food manufacturers on processing their food and packaging waste and creating a zero landfill solution for them. Food and packaging can easily be turned into valuable bio-oil and bio-char at the location where the waste occurs. This is a great alternative to having only some of the food or packaging waste collected and hauled to a central location where it is then processed. With Biogreen® you can process all of your food and packing waste on site, saving money and the environment.

LANDFILL MINING
Due to the mobility and scalability of the Biogreen® technology, it makes it ideal for landfill mining. There is a lot of latent energy sat in the ground at landfill sites and a lot of land that due to what is in the ground can not be used. With a sorting process to remove in-organics and then recycle them, the organics can be put through Biogreen® to create renewable energy. The more that you want to process, the more modules you have on site. Biogreen® can be mounted into a 40ft container and easily moved.

MSW
When sorted, a lot of Muncipal Solid Waste contains organic materials that have stored up latent energy in them, instead of landfilling this or incinerating it, it could be processed using Biogreen technology. There are a lot of countries looking at ways of better processing their MSW and there are many sorting processes. Biogreen is the perfect solution for processing any organic waste including plastic, wood, rubber, food and green waste, turning them into renewable energy.

PAPER MILL
There is a lot of waste that comes out of paper mills and as well as mixted waste plastics and paper (which is easily processed through Biogreen®) Biogreen® are looking at the potential for processing paper sludge.

PLASTICS
The high calorific value of plastic means that it produces a great high cv bio-oil and bio-char. Biogreen® technology is currently used for processing waste plastics such as car fluff/frag which alternatively would be costly to dispose of. Results of treating car fluff/frag can be seen on the results page. All types of plastics contain a lot of oil and when processed with Biogreen that waste plastic turns into a valuable commodity.

SEWAGE SLUDGE
The oil obtained from sewage sludge pyrolysis can be used directly in diesel fueled engines, giving the biggest example of 'Energy From Waste'. Processing sewage sludge with Biogreen® technology will reduce the water content, eliminate odours, eliminate pathogens, concentrate heavy metals and optimise energy consumtion. We have an example of Biogreen® in the market, being used to process sewage sludge.

TYRES (used rubber tires)
In many places used tires are seen as a nasty waste material that are quite difficult to get rid of. We have an example of Biogreen® technology processing the rubber from used tires and creating a valuable charcoal from it.
Once the tires have been shredded and the metals are recovered, the crumbed rubber can be processed through the Biogreen® technology and drastically increase in value.

VINASSES (spent washes)
Those vegetal wastes from food industries, more exactly from beet distillation for example, or molasses from distillery, can be used for soil amendment. However, a Biogreen® treatment allow to add charge to the matter in order to make easier the yield capacity and handling, and so financial return.

WOOD PRODUCTS
All sort of wood form can be valued thanks to Biogreen®: flour, sawdust, woodchips etc can be transformed into char and oil. Char from wood can be used for soil amendment or as a solid fuel. Oil can be used for smoked food flavours for example. It give an answer to the storage problem of wood product which are wet and take place.
